  • Sugar Free BBQ Sauce, prepared or your favorite
  • 2 14 oz cans white beans, drained
  • 1 cup sugar free ketchup
  • 1/41/3 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • salt, pepper to taste
Optional add ons:
  • 1 cup brown mushrooms, chopped
  • bell pepper
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke

  1. You need to preheat your oven to 415°F and also get a 8 inch Dutch oven. If you don’t have one, use a 8×11 inch casserole dish. Now heat a bit of oil or vegetable broth to a pan. Add onions and garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Then add optional bell pepper and mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes more.
  2. Mix everything (beans, fried vegetables, BBQ sauce, ketchup, Buffalo sauce) in the casserole. If you use them, add the optionals like liquid smoke, chili powder, smoked paprika, and cumin. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for around 10 minutes, then serve in bowls or on plates.
