Description

This Dirty Rice is the ultimate comfort food that everyone will devour in no time. Super easy to make with simple ingredients, satisfying and no one would ever taste it is entirely vegan. It tastes like the real deal, if not better. Even pickiest eaters will want a second plate in no time. A 10 minute meal which uses leftover rice.

Ingredients

  • 2,5 cups leftover rice
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbs Vegan butter
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbs Cajun seasoning
  • 5 oz vegan ground beef
  • 2 vegan sausages
  • 1 cup vegan bacon
  • salt, pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt vegan butter in a large casserole or skillet. Add onions, green bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetable begin to soften.
  2. Now it is time to add the vegan ground beef, diced vegan sausage, and vegan bacon. Fry for 2 minutes more on high heat. Season with Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika before you finally the cooked rice.
  3. Season with a touch of salt and pepper and cook for 5 minut‚Äčes further until everything is hot.
