My favorite detox recipes are soups. I already posted a Detox Broccoli Soup recipe that is quite good for this. And today’s Easy Avocado Detox Soup tops that one in terms of how easy to make it is and how much it bursts with green power.
Health Benefits of the Easy Avocado Detox Soup
I chose to combine two of my most favorite ingredients, which are coincidentally also great detox foods: avocado and cilantro. I guess most of you know about the health benefits of avocado.

A standout reason to incorporate them into your detox diet is the fact that nutrients from avocados lower many risk factors for heart disease.
That cilantro is a really powerful detox food is maybe not known so much even though it should. Cilantro is especially beneficial for heavy metal detoxification and general anti-oxidant activity.

I am not exaggerating when I say that this is probably the most easily prepared recipe I have ever created. There are two components to it: The avocado soup and the cilantro topping.
All you need is a good blender. For the soup, you combine avocados, coconut milk, garlic, salt, and pepper in the blender and process.
Special feature of the Easy Avocado Detox Soup: you can enjoy it cold or hot. If you prefer it hot, just heat it up in a sauce pan.

For the topping:
- 1/2 cup (70 g) cashews, soaked for 10 minutes in hot water
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 1 handful cilantro + more for garnish
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
- salt, pepper
For the Avocado Soup
- 2 avocados
- 1 14 oz (400 ml) can coconut milk
- salt, pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
Prepare the topping:
- Drain the soaked cashews and add them with the other ingredients to a blender. Process until smooth and set aside.
Make the Easy Avocado Detox Soup:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and process. If you want to enjoy this soup hot, transfer to a small sauce pan and heat. Serve with a spoonful of the topping.
