Description

This vegan French Onion Dip is super easy to make with simple ingredients and packed with amazing flavors. A winning combo that the whole family, kids and of course pickiest hubbies will enjoy. Learn my tried method which leads to the best result any time you have your chips and veggies ready to dip. I can tell you this will be a staple.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups onions, peeled and cut into fine cubes
  • 14 oz vegan sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp vegan mayo
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbs garlic powder
  • salt, pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet, then add onions and fry them for around 20 minutes on medium heat until they are caramelized and golden browned. Season with a pinch salt and pepper, allow to cool.
  2. Next combine vegan mayo, vegan sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Mix with a spatula, again season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Finally add 3/4 of the onions into the sour cream mixture and mix with a spatula again. If you want, transfer to another serving bowl, and garnish with the remaining onions.
