This Sugar Free BBQ Sauce is super versatile, perfectly seasoned, homemade and such an amazing condiment to have any day. Who does not love BBQ sauce? But so many store bought versions contain so much sugar and preservatives, so I would say we have a deal right now for homemade BBQ sauce.

  • 2 tbs Monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 15 oz chopped tomatoes
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  1. Use a small casserole and turn it on medium to heat.
  2. Add tomato paste, monk sweetener, chopped tomatoes, apple cider, and season with salt and pepper. Also add immediately the optional mustard, smoked paprika, and hot sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook everything for about 5 minutes. Then let cool down a bit.
  3. Now transfer to a blender or food processor process until smooth. Store in a jar. With a lid it will stay fresh for around 2 weeks.
