What you need for this Catalina dressing recipe

  • oil
  • ketchup
  • maple syrup
  • vinegar
  • garlic
  • onion powder

Optional add:

  • smoked paprika

How to make Catalina Dressing

In a bowl combine oil, vinegar, garlic, onion powder, ketchup. Season with salt and pepper and optional smoked paprika.

Mix everything together with a wire whisk, or simply put everything in a dressing shaker and combine.

It makes such a fantastic condiment for salads, or just eat it up with some chips, yum.

How long will it stay fresh in the fridge? It can be stored for around 2 months sealed in a airtight container or bottled.

Sugar free version: replace the maple syrup by monk fruit sweetener and use sugar free ketchup.

Catalina French dressing: add 2 tsp vegan Worchester sauce and 1 tsp mustard.

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbs onion powder
  • 2 Tbs garlic powder
  • salt, pepper to taste

Optional:

  • 1 Tbs smoked paprika

I wanna make it but what type of oil to use ? Olive oil , canola oil , coconut oil ?
