First I have to tell you guys that this recipe has a few more ingredients than my other easy recipes like this Puttanesca Sauce or the Sweet Potato Soup

As always, I keep it really simple but you will need more ingredients to make it even more delicious.

You can decide for yourself to leave some ingredients out according to your own preferences. So this recipe is really, really flexible and customizable individually.

How to make Gado Gado

Bring water to a boil in a large casserole. Add the quartered potatoes and cook them for 10 minutes. Then give the green beans to the same pot and cook for another 10 minutes until both are soft. Alternatively you can steam the potatoes and beans, which will depend on your steaming device.

While both are cooking, heat a skillet with sesame oil. When it is hot, add the onions and fry them for about 10 minutes until crispy and golden.
