I have to tell you, fries are for me so satisfying that I like to eat them fresh from the oven baked to crispy perfection.

You will love my easy preparation that gives you an amazing result with such little time investment.

My recipe is flexible as you can use fresh or frozen fries. It is also simple because you need besides the fries only your favorite pizza sauce, vegan pepperoni and vegan mozzarella as ingredients.

The texture of the Pizza Fries is absolutely perfect: crunchy, meaty, cheesy and creamy. What’s not to love?

Finally, preparation is as easy as it can be with step by step pictures.

What you need for this Pizza Fries recipe

  • Fries
  • Marinara
  • Vegan mozzarella
  • Vegan pepperoni

How to make Pizza Fries

Preheat oven to 410°F  and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add the fries to the baking sheet and bake them according to the manufacturer’s directions. When done, season with a pinch of salt.

Transfer the baked fries to a casserole dish and spread some marinara over them. Sprinkle a little vegan mozzarella over it, then distribute the vegan pepperoni slices. Finally top with remaining mozzarella.

Bake for 6 minutes until cheese is melted and serve hot straight from the oven.

Tips and variations

You can store leftovers in principle, but I wouldn’t recommend that. Fries will get mushy and the whole dish loses texture.  There is nothing better than to serve these Pizza Fries fresh and hot.

Use whenever you can a good quality marinara or make your own Spaghetti Sauce, which will taste so good. Of course it takes a bit of extra time but it is definitely worth your effort.

You can add for variations: green or red bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, chilis, olives.

  • 1.5 lbs fries (frozen or fresh)
  • 3/4 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup vegan mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 cup vegan pepperoni slices
  • salt to taste
