Marry Me Chicken ingredients

Vegan chicken: I use filets which are perfect from the size and thickness. Have bigger filets? Slice them in half into cutlets so you get thinner filets. Flour is used for dredging the chicken which result in a crispy, juicy and tender chicken.

Olive oil and dairy free butter make everything so good, because we have all the amazing flavors from olive oil which are savory and bold. Butter adds a rich and buttery flavor which together will make the final result really shine and pop.

Sun dried tomatoes are really great for flavor and makes everything so bold and bright.

Non dairy heavy cream and vegetable broth are the base for our sauce. Seasoning comes from a combination of garlic and onions, chili flakes and oregano

Dairy free parmesan: this is where the cheesy flavor comes into play. That will truly take this easy Marry Me Chicken recipe over the top.

Basil goes into to the final result. Taste really bold and delicious.

How to make Marry Me Chicken

Dredge chicken

In a bowl or Ziploc bag combine flour and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add chicken and make sure the flour sticks to the chicken and has it fully covered in thin layer.

Cook chicken

Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Add the dredged chicken to it and cook for around 3 minutes from each side. Remove the filets from the pan but keep the remaining butter and oil in it for the next step.

Make the creamy sauce

To that pan, now add onions, and pressed garlic. Let cook for 2 minutes. Then, stir in heavy cream, parmesan, oregano, chili flakes, sun dried tomatoes, chili flakes. When everything is well combined, add the chicken back and cook for 3 minutes more.

Garnish with basil and serve.
