Pasta is my favorite thing in the world, because it is something that won’t let me down.

The variety of pasta is great, you can have so many great shapes like spaghetti in my Spaghetti aglio e olio or Pizza Spaghetti, or fettuccini (Alfredo Sauce), and penne (Baked Ziti).

And let’s not forget about macaroni as in my Hawaiian Macaroni Salad or the Deluxe Mac and Cheese.

Ingredients needed to make the Cheeseburger Pasta are assembled on a wooden board.

Why this Cheeseburger Pasta is great

What you get is a winner that has both great flavors from cheeseburger and pasta in one.

Great texture: I tell you sweet pickles isn’t something that you would expect in a pasta, but I have to tell these are great for the flavor and texture.

I make everything as easy as it gets with step by step pictures, so you see everything before it’s even prepared.

Cheeseburger Pasta comes with a great sauce is made from tomato sauce, mustard and ketchup.

For cheesiness and richness I use vegan cheddar shreds, which are always my favorite.

Pickle cubes and salsa tomato sauce are added to the pan with fried vegan ground beef.

What you need for this Cheeseburger Pasta recipe

  • Pasta
  • Tomato sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Ketchup
  • Vegan ground beef

  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Mustard
  • Sweet pickles
  • Vegan cheddar

Precooked pasta is added to the pan with the meat-sauce mixture.

How to make Cheeseburger Pasta

I assume that the pasta is already pre-cooked.

In a pan or skillet heat olive oil. When hot add onions, garlic, and vegan ground beef. Cook everything for 4 minutes.

Now add tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, pasta, and pickles. Mix everything together, then sprinkle with vegan cheese. Let simmer on low heat for a bit until the cheese melts.

Serve on plates or in bowls.

Leftovers and Freezer instructions

Leftovers of the Cheeseburger Pasta can be kept in the fridge best for around 4 days.

This is a great meal for freezing, but with one exception: I would say prepare everything as it is, but without the cheddar on top.

You can of course prepare it completely, but I find it tastes better the other way.

Pasta is mixed with the sauce and sprinkled with shredded vegan cheddar.

Tips and tricks:

For the cheese: Colby jack or Tex mex is also great.

Use chopped tomatoes for a more chunky texture instead of tomato sauce in this Cheeseburger Pasta.

With red pepper flakes or chili powder you get a more spicy flavor.

Made this tonight and it was a hit! I used sweet relish as a topping instead of chopped pickles within since not everyone in my family loves pickles. It was soooo easy to make and absolutely delicious
