Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketzap manis (I used gf)
  • 2 tsp tapioca starch + 4 tsp water
  • salt, pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan combine chili flakes, maple syrup, minced garlic, ketzap manis, white vinegar, and tapioca starch (premixed with water). Season with salt and pepper and heat until the mix starts to simmer for around 4 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Make sure to whisk constantly with an egg beater. Then, let cool a bit before using. It will stay fresh in glass jar with a lid for around 2 weeks.
